About the owner
Erik grew up in Kansas where he learned the value of hard work, respect and community. He also learned a thing or two about turning wrenches and operating large farm equipment.
As a young man, eager for adventure and experience, Erik took road trips in his beat up old Isuzu Trooper, rode his ‘85 Gold Wing motorcycle to the Grand Canyon, hiked the Appalachian Trail, and studied primitive skills. He then grew hungry for knowledge and started studying the sciences here at Central Oregon Community College. His dedication to his studies earned him a spot at Stanford University where he finished his bachelor's degree in materials science and engineering.
After working in the field of engineering, Erik decided that he wanted a different kind of challenge. He wanted to build a business of his own. He then returned to Bend, Oregon, a place that now felt like home, to start his business and participate in the community.
Erik proudly takes part in every aspect of his business. He drives and repairs the truck, answers the phone, builds the company website, balances the books, and anything else E-Towing requires.
Company values
This is the foundation. The ideals we return to when making decisions at all levels.
Safety - This goes at the top of the list. Towing is an inherently dangerous occupation. We don’t mess around when it comes to the safety of our employees, customers, and those around us.
Transparency - E-Towing believes in honest conversations. That’s why we post our rates on our website. If you have questions about how or why we operate the way we do, go ahead and ask us.
Quality - It seems simple because it is. Sometimes quality is hard to explain in words but everyone recognizes quality when they see it. We hope you recognize us for the quality of our character, workmanship, and customer service.
Simple and creative solutions - Because all too often, less is more.
